CAMBRIDGESHIRE CONKER CHAMPIONSHIPS
IN AID OF THE KELLY SIMMONDS FUND AND STRATHCARRON HOSPICE
Ady Hurrell of Whittlesey, won the 2014 Cambridgeshire Conker Championship, held on Sunday 12th October at the Palmerston Arms, public house in Peterborough.
Ady overcame his brother Maurice (a former 3x Scottish Conker Champion) in the final of a strong field of competitors.
Earlier in the day Ady failed to emulate his 2007 success at the World Conker Championship by losing in the men's final. Although his son Elliott, last years Cambridgeshire Conker Champion went one better to lift the World Junior Conker crown at Southwick, Northants.
The Cambridgeshire Conker Championship is set to be held on Saturday 10th October 2015 at 7pm, at THE DRAGON public house, Werrington, Peterborough, PE54-5EG.

There will be a nominal £3.00 entry fee. Conkers and strings will be provided. Children can play too.
